Yelp Maine enjoyed a sit down dinner of authentic Russian foods at our latest Elite Event at Sip of Europe who put on an impressive New Year’s Eve-inspired spread. The evening started with a champagne toast before Yelpers dove into a menu including red caviar with butter on bread, salmon crepes, an assortment of pickled veggies, meats and cheeses, garden salad, olivier salad (potatoes, eggs, pickles, peas, ham, and mayo), and tangerines. The night was peppered with fun trivia from our vivacious host, Yulia, who also shared her story about her travels from St. Petersburg to Portland. As the evening wound down, dessert was presented: tea, traditional cookies, and a tangy lemon crepe cake. It was a night of decadence, first tries, new friends, and lots of laughter!
