For the third year in a row, we’ve partnered with our friends at Market Street Eats in Portland to benefit the awesome nonprofit organizations we volunteer with through our monthly series #YelpHelps. Yelpers were tasked to create, then taste-test, unique sandwiches. As we sampled and voted on masterpieces likeThe Curry Favor-Ite(featuring curried chicken salad, crispy bacon, cheddar, avocado, banana peppers, pickles, tomatoes and a lemon vinaigrette),先生。腰(roast beef, Swiss, lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, Dijon mustard, and horseradish mayo), andThe Big Cheese(crispy bacon, cheddar, Havarti, Provolone, tomatoes, and ranch) we heard from various NPOs —Volunteers of America Northern New England,Maine Island Trail Association, and theYarmouth Community Garden— about the importance of community service.
