This January, Detroit Elites celebrated their new ’22 badges with a series of Elite experiences from bagels to boba to breakfast sandwiches!
First up–bagels and badges! Elites were welcomed intoElaine’s Bagelsin Shelby Township to enjoy a complimentary bagel sandwich along with their choice of beverage including Illy coffees, espresso beverages, and bubble teas. Elites loved the sandwiches with “super fluffy” eggs on “thick and fresh” bagels (Kristin C) and lattes that were “exactly right on the milk to espresso ratio.” (Meridena K)
Elites continued the celebration with a complimentary bubble tea fromDetroit Bubble Teain Ferndale. Elites were invited in to enjoy their choice of a large tea flavor with any mix in combination. From flavors like lychee to cotton candy, cinnamon bun to taro, and milk teas like black and Thai teas with mix-ins like tapioca pearls, fruit jellies, and juicy popping pearls. Yelpers also loved exploring all the “cool tea accessories, cut little pins, key chains, tea pots” and more in the shop! (Ashlee H).
Our final celebration was with delicious breakfast walk upIggy’s Eggiesright in the heart of Downtown Detroit. Elites were treated to their choice of jammy-yolk egg sandwiches on an english muffin, brioche, or biscuit and their choice of cheese and meat (including vegan sausage). “The sandwich was honestly so delicious. The egg had the perfect amount of runny yolkiness without being messy or overwhelming and the iggy sauce they add on it was delightful.” (Jesus E).
