Albuquerque Launches Yelptropolis 2018

On Saturday, March 3, one of Albuquerque’s largest local business celebrations kicked off an international performing arts festival at the Historic El Rey Theater, downtown. A free event with donations benefitting the Tricklock Theatre Company, attendees enjoyed an enormous spread of food and drink from more than 20 local restaurants, sweet shops, breweries and coffee shops. Yelp connects people with great local businesses, and this event put business owners in front of enthusiastic, influential locals. Alongside all of the tasty eats, muralist and street artists composed art that was later auctioned to the crowd, vendors displayed jewelry and merchandise, a special sneak-peek performance by Navarasa Dance Theater wowed the audience, and City of Albuquerque Director of Cultural Affairs, Shelle Sanchez, congratulated Tricklock Company on 18 years of Revolutions.
