1. Grateful homage to a thoughtful server

Mass Ave Pub– Indianapolis, IN

“On my way out, the server grabbed the door. While not necessary, it was appreciated… If you have a disability, especially one that impacts motor skills (as I do), you’ve been looked at, stared at, laughed at… MOST people are wonderful, but trust me – the opposite happens too… While I wasn’t having such a day today, there’s something special about having those places you can identify where you can go, relax, enjoy a meal and, maybe most importantly, be yourself.” –Yelp Indy Elite Richard P

2. Virtual hug to a passionate biz owner

Cleveland Whiskey– Cleveland, OH

“Tom was by far the best tour guide I have encountered at a Yelp event. EVER. Dude is friggin hilarious. His passion for his business is evident and I love to see a business owner who is truly passionate about what they do. Tom, thank you for the amazing tour and all the really great factoids about whiskey, bourbon and your really cool business. Also, thank you for your loyalty to a city that wasn’t your hometown to begin with. God knows Cleveland needs more loyalists like you! I gotta say, I love the fact this company has completely thought outside the box. They are taking on the whiskey and bourbon market in a way that sets them apart.” –Raymond M at Yelp’s Local Whiskey 101

3. Love letter to a mouthwatering pizza joint

The Scootic In– Millinocket, ME

“I have visited 46 out of the 50 states and I have eaten pizza in all of them… I have eaten some dang good pies. But this is the pie that pilgrimages are made of and quests are begun to discover the ultimate nirvana of pie. The Scootic In in Millinocket, Maine gets my award for the absolute best pie I have ever eaten, anywhere and any time!” –Yelp查尔斯顿精英迈克B

4. Conversation to a life-changing counselor

Get Unstuck NYC– New York City, NY

“I just had a fantastic conversation with Nicole. I am immigrant from the middle east, working in the art world and all I have these days is anxiety and fear of (my) future. In helping me, she was honest and clear about what I need to do and what I can do, and she helped me when I wasn’t expecting any help from her. This is what makes me feel empowered and hopeful, and I believe over and above anything this empowerment is all we need!” –Yelper Muhammad G

5. True tale of a comforting company

Alpha Security Systems– Nashville, TN

“Mike got in touch with me right away. In no time he came out and had us up, running, and fully secure… Once I was home alone and my alarm went off… (it) scared me to death… They called and I kept them on the line as I tiptoed towards the door it said was ajar. It had been the back door of the garage, and my husband hadn’t closed it good and tight. The wind had blown it open, tripping the alarm. Just very pleased.” –Yelper Stacy B
