Wingnutz Is The New Wing Hotspot

There’s a constant struggle to find the hottest wing spot in Buffalo. A number of factors contribute, including flavor, crunch, and size – now, we’re no wing experts, but Yelp Elites agree that there’s something delicious going on atWingnutz!

A newly opened restaurant inside of the Knights of Columbus,Wingnutzinvited the Yelp Elite Squad to sample five of their finest deep-fried chicken wings. While the traditional Buffalo wing sauce wasn’t a part ofthisevent (although it is available on the menu), they served up a variety of hot, medium, and mild sauces of their own creation, as well as the unique Honey Garlic and Asian Apricot. The owners, Ed and Alicia, worked tirelessly to whip up over 300 wings for everybody to sample during the event, topping everything off with their savory homemade desserts, Carrot Cake and their special Wingbox Cake. Each guest also received beer fromBig Ditch Brewing, their Beautiful River, a Belgian style saison which paired beautifully with the wings.

In the meantime, Yelp Elites were challenged to Wingo (that’s Wing-Bingo) for a chance to win some fabulous prizes! We had guests doing push-ups, posting pictures, and high-fiving each other. The wing conversation was certainly stirred, but don’t take our word for it – check out all of thephotos and reviews!
