A Smokin’ Good Time at The Horseshoe Grill

Tucson’s East-side has been making a splash in food news lately. The locally owned and operatedHorseshoe Grillmight just have something to do with that! Their scratch-kitchen is dedicated to providing the freshest ingredients, premium hand cut steaks and savory smoked meats cooked with real Arizona mesquite. You can smell the mesquite wood burning a mile away, and lucky for usYelp’s Meat and Greetwasn’t your average food tasting! Yelpers got a brisket 101 with Chef Andy Romero and owner Ken Bedient that included a tour to the smoker before sitting down to sample menu favorites.

“I enjoyed meeting fellow Yelpers and discussing favorite restaurants and activities in the area, as well as the entire country. It’s interesting to see people with such diverse backgrounds brought together by their love of food. The owners and staff were so friendly and hospitable. You couldn’t ask for better service. It was a great opportunity to learn how to prepare brisket for smoking and to actually see a smoker and restaurant kitchen.”
