Another year, another beautiful partnership with Old Strathcona Business Association! We hooked up with over 20 businesses to give Yelpers the ultimate shopping scavenger hunt and help them finish their Christmas shopping at the same time. Santa was even spotted taking part in the hunt (I heard he is trying to get his Elite status)!
We followed the map and went form great local business, to great local business collecting all the Yelp Schwag along the way.
We took a break in the middle to watch a fashion show hosted by yours truly and Janis Galloway (Dress Me Dearly Blog and The Publicity Room). Enjoying some great local fashions available from some fantastic boutiques and stores located on and around Whyte Avenue. While enjoying complimentary wine and chocolates from the Metterra Hotel. Once we had chosen our favourite holiday outfits, it was back to the beat. A race against other Yelpers to meet back where it all began at Block 1912 and prove they made it ’round the map! Those who made it won $50 gift cards for the Old Strathcona area. What an awesome day of holiday cheer!
