Yelp London had the chance tomeat2016 head on! We went to the world famous Gaucho at the world famous O2 to learn to cook like a Gaucho. The steakhouse’s Beef Guru, Fernando Larroude, guided 12 Gold Elites through preparing and cooking the Argentine fare. We went through the history of Argentine beef and the social ritual of asado, as well as learning about the different cuts of beef and other meats with butchery demonstrations, sauce creations, and of course, epic grilling. And then the yelpers went fully hands-on, cutting, mixing, grilling and eating. The afternoon ended in their private dining room to sample the meat we made.
