Yelp KL精英事件:Yelp Tuak-Tail晚上Lucky Bo

Untitled design (13)

It was not just another Sunday evening – on November 8, Yelp Elites got the opportunity to find out how much they actually know aboutTuak– which is also better known as the Malaysian rice wine! At this Elite Event, guests had the exclusive opportunities to experience an afternoon of Tuak, Sambal and some Asian Fusion delicacies atLucky Bo– a newly opened community café.

The evening started by glasses of refreshing Tuak-tails (Tuak inspired cocktails) including the Sarawak Sunrise and Kuching Mule being served, intriguingly being paired with some different kinds of Sambal served with Emping, a type of Indonesian chips.

Of course, all these Emping also made sure that the Tuak didn’t go straight to the head at the next session – Tuak tasting! We were so lucky indeed at Lucky Bo to have our special invited guest –Agus Sapen– talked to us about Tuak and who gave us a live demonstration of the Tuak-making. And, no to be forgotten were those Asian Fusion delicacies including Spaghetti Tuak Vongole and Spaghetti Sambal Ikan Bilis which Lucky Bo’s owner, Edward S got inspired in creating this dish by the very local rice dish – Nasi Lemak!

Check out what the Elites aresaying about it, and thegreat shotsof the awesome bunch taken byMamawhaley.
