EVO Rock + Fitness’ mission statement is simple: “to empower people and strengthen communities through climbing”, and that’s exactly what we experienced at Yelp Climbs To The Top!, our extremely unique Yelp Elite Event this week in Portland, ME.
After our hands-on Intro To Climbing course, Elites were released into thewildrock gym to test their strength on the many floor-to-ceiling routes available. Not only did they climb to the top again and again, they swung like trapeze artists, and leaped faithfully off boulders too. It was an evening of trust, exploration, and fun!
The instructors at EVO Rock + Fitness were patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout the class and even afterwards. Our official drink sponsor, Hint Water, kept us well hydrated all night (and we needed it – rock climbing is a serious full body work out!); our official snack sponsor, MoMunch Granola, provided delicious and nutritious bags of granola, the perfect energizing snack during our climb-a-thon!
