On tuesday an historic event happened in Santiago. For the first time, yelpers attended a "Café con Sofi" the CM of the city. And of course, since we enjoy to surprise yelpers, instead of coffee we did tea time.
Right after work, in a very hot summer afternoon, yelpers got together at Tea Connection to enjoy some Ice Tea, pastries, variety of regular teas and wonderful cake. Seems that staying in Santiago when everybody is on vacation is not bad at all!
The event was full of laughter, we learned some japanese thanks to part of our Elite Squad, and had quite a brainstorm trying to find a name for a fluffy new yelper that arrive to one event for the first time: the Yelp Santiago mascot, a globetrotter bear, that now goes by the name Gary Don Oso. Always good to have a new friend around!

El martes, sucedió un evento histórico en Santiago. Por primera vez, hicimos el evento "Café con Sofi" la CM de la ciudad. Pero obvio, eso no es todo. Como nos gusta sorprender a los yelpers, en vez de tomar café, hicimos una hora del té.
Apenas salieron del trabajo, en una tarde megacalurosa de verano. Los yelpers se reunieron en Tea Connection para disfrutar un muy necesario té helado, una variedad de tés calientes y una variedad de pastelitos para chuparse los dedos. ¡Parece que quedarse en Santiago mientras el resto está de vacaciones no es tan malo!
El evento estuvo plagado de mucha risa, algunos reencuentros con yelpers que no veíamos hace un tiempo, aprendimos algo de japonés gracias a nuestro Elite Squad y tuvimos un tremendo brainstorm tratando de bautizar a un peludo nuevo yelper que asistió pro primera vez a un evento: la mascota de Yelp Santiago, un oso patiperro que ahora, por elección popular se llama Gary Don Oso. Así, ¡con chispeza!
